About Us
The dream for the Vine Learning Centre was realised in order to provide a support service for parents who had decided to take advantage of educating their children through elective home education. We supply curriculum, administrative support, coaching and academic assistance for the students.
We care for your child’s safety and well-being; ensuring that we are covered by appropriate insurance policies, up to date with DBS checks, and aware of current child safety, health and safety, and first aid guidelines.
We operate to the highest standards of honesty and integrity, offering a genuine, transparent work ethic at all times and conducting ourselves appropriately towards your children, respecting them as unique individuals.
In the Vine Learning Centre, we facilitate your child’s learning using the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum, with the best knowledge and ability that we can offer to promote high standards of work and behaviour, and provide clear guidelines for students and parents.
The Vine Learning Centre helps the children stay on track with their work and goals, providing guidance, support, advice, diagnostic testing, training, and administration of A.C.E. materials

Oral Reports
Every half term, each student is required to present an oral report. They research a given topic, prepare their report and then present this in front of the other students. The main goal of oral reports is to develop our students in the area of public speaking, preparing them for when they will need these communication skills in college, university and future careers.
Reward System
In the VLC, our main reward system is the use of merits. Students can earn merits for completed work, character development, good behaviour… the list is endless. We love to reward our students! At the end of each half term, the students are able to spend their well-earned merits in the merit shop, where there are lots of items to choose from… big and small. The Merit Shop is a lot of fun and each student anticipates this event! We also have a Reading Project that encourage the children to read a list of books according to their age. Certificates and awards are also given for achieving Bronze, Silver or Gold Level.
